Hi David,
Shimmer provides examples using c# (Shimmer Connect) and java(android). This
can be found in the downloads section of our webpage, you will have to sign
in first for the links to be revealed. Hope that helps.
Best regards,
JC

Hi all,
Last week I was able to connect the shimmer by updating the firmware as you
suggested and I saw the data streamming in the multi shimmer sync.
Now I want to develop a gesture recognizer with the EMG. My question is what
tools do I need for that? Where should I develop and in what language? In
other words what do you recommend?
I have visual studio 2012 (C#) and Eclipse for Java (I'm currently
installing plugins for android development). Does Shimmer have libraries for
any of these IDEs and examples?
my best regards,
David

Hi David,
For my sensors, I use ShimmerConnect (provided by Shimmer company) to stream
the data from the sensors. Have you tried it?
Best,
Ha Dang.

David,
Are you using a Shimmer3? I recently had a similar issue with Shimmer3, and
found that it had come with an outdated firmware installed. Try using the
bootstrap loader to upload the BtStream_v0.2.0_shimmer3 firmware.

Subject: [Shimmer-users] Help with Shimmer
Hi,
I don't know if here is the best place to post my doubts and problems and I
firstly apologize for that.
I'm new in this area of hardware and sensors, but I'm starting to work with
Shimmer EMGs.
I read part of the manuals provided and installed the sensor and needed
software. However, when I run the Multi Shimmer Sync although the
application detects my sensor (I can see the ID of the EMG) when I click on
connect it never successfully connects and stays in idle status.
I would like to know if I'm doing something wrong here, I couldn't find an
answer in the FAQ section, thanks in advance for your help.
best regards,
David Costa
