[Shimmer-users] Shimmer Data Logging and Bluetooth Transfer

My research team decided to buy a few products from Shimmer for our
project. I have a few questions about how to do certain stuff on the
platform. I will detail my requirements below:

I need to be able to use an Android phone to connect to a Shimmer device,
and send it a command to start logging heart rate data (from the ECG
sensor) on its internal memory card. When I've logged enough data (say 2-3
hours), I need to reconnect to the device and ask it to send the collected
data file via Bluetooth to the phone. I'll assume it is easy to connect to
another device (GSR) and ask it to do the same, as they will activate
sequentially, collect in parallel, and then send the files again
sequentially.

I am aware of the BoilerPlate firmware, which allows Bluetooth
communication, and the HostTimeLogging firmware which allows logging.
However, to my knowledge, there is no firmware that supports both. I have
been successful in streaming data from the device to the phone, but I don't
want to do that as it will keep the Bluetooth running for several hours.

Any details on how to acheive this will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in
advance.
